Oolong Tea

Oolong tea is a semi-fermented tea with curly, dark green leaves.

When brewed, it has a dark golden brown hue, a strong smooth and slightly baked taste, a strong aroma, and a lingering aftertaste.

Oolong tea is most commonly enjoyed in Taiwan and southern China and the tea of choice in many Chinese restaurants worldwide.

Because oolong tea is oxidized at varying levels depending on the processing technique of the tea master, its flavour can range from light to full bodied, floral to grassy, and sweet to toasty.

The colour of the leaves and the hue of the brewed tea can also vary from green to golden to brown, and is cultivated in many parts of the world.
